China Chongqing reduced emergency response due to COVID-19
In the city of Chongqing's central subordination in south-west China, the level of emergency response in connection with the new coronavirus has been reduced, according to Xinhua news agency on March 11. The level of response was reduced from one to the other due to a decrease in the COVID-19 threat. In the city, in the neighbouring province of Hubei, no confirmed cases of virus infection have been detected for 14 consecutive days. The highest level of response was announced in the city on 24 January by the city authorities. In the city, 576 confirmed cases of coronavirus infection were detected during the epidemic. 542 people have already been discharged from hospitals, 28 people are continuing treatment.
