In Venezuela prices have doubled since the beginning of the year

Venezuela's inflation rate has increased by a year in the first two months 100% this year, the Venezuelan National Assembly, an opposition committee to the country's current leadership, told reporters. A video of the press conference was posted on the Twitter page of committee member Angel Alvarado. Thus, according to Alvarado, the inflation in February amounted to 22.4%, and since the beginning of the year, taking into account the accumulative effect of 102.4%. He added that in annual terms the price increase reached 3276%. According to the news agency, on January 13, the finance committee of the Venezuelan National Assembly announced that inflation in Venezuela in 2019 amounted to 7374.4%.
