The number of cases of COVID-19 in South Korea increased by 152 people

New 152 cases of infection with the new coronavirus have been detected in South Korea over the past 24 hours. The total number of cases in the country reached 8,565, according to Rønhap agency with reference to data of the South Korean Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Of the new infections, 97 are in the city of Taegu, where one of the largest hotbeds of the epidemic in the republic is located. The number of deaths as a result of the disease COVID-19 also increased. The number reached 91. Earlier, South Korea reported a possible fracture in the situation with a new type of coronavirus, as the last four days the number of cases did not exceed 100 daily. However, over the past 24 hours, the number of new cases has again exceeded one hundred. According to the news agency, earlier President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in held a meeting on the situation with coronavirus of a new type. He stressed that the Government of South Korea would not be able to solve the problems caused by the COVID-19 on its own, and asked business representatives for cooperation.
