Georgia can introduce full quarantine - Chikovani

The Georgian authorities may impose a full quarantine in the country if its residents do not comply with the norms imposed in connection with the spread of the quarantine. On 16 April, the adviser to the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Chikovani, made this warning during the briefing. He stressed that the precise implementation of Government regulations was required of all categories of citizens. If this is not the case, the epidemiological situation in Georgia will deteriorate, forcing the Government to tighten restrictions. We will then be forced to declare a full quarantine in the country in the near future, Chikovani said. According to the news agency, since April 17 in Georgia there is a ban on the movement of cars. In addition, from this day on, everyone is obliged to wear protective masks in public places that are located in closed premises.
