Ukrainian Foreign Ministry urged France to respond to the visit of MEPs to Crimea

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine appealed to the Ambassador of France to Ukraine Etienne de Ponsen with a request to respond to the illegal visit of French deputies of the European Parliament to Crimea, the press service of the foreign ministry said on June 30. Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Emine Dzhaparova announced the inadmissibility of contacts between French citizens and representatives of the Crimean authorities and asked to respond to the visit of a delegation led by European Parliament deputy Thierry Mariani, which will last from June 30 to July 2, 2020. In turn, the Ambassador of France said that official Paris invariably supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. According to the news agency, earlier the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba said that the country's authorities would not take the money if Russia suddenly offered some compensation for Ukraine's loss of Crimea.
