Unknown attacked sheriffs in northern California

Employees of the sheriff of the American district of Contra Costa shot a man who attacked law enforcement officials, reports Xinhua. It is reported that an unknown man opened fire on representatives of the sheriff and injured three people. The attacker was killed by return fire. According to the preliminary version, law enforcement officers arrived on a call about domestic violence. Allegedly, the man took his lover hostage and promised to set her on fire. Upon arrival at the scene, an unknown person opened fire on law enforcement officers. The identity of the attacker is not disclosed. An investigation is currently underway.
