Putin discussed with the king of Saudi Arabia preparations for the summit G20
Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with Saudi King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The leaders discussed preparations for the G20 summit, the fight against coronavirus, agreements in the OPEC + format, the Kremlin press service informs on September 7. The conversation took place at the initiative of the Saudi side. Putin and Al Saud discussed preparations for the G-20 summit, which is scheduled for November this year. The meeting will be chaired by Saudi Arabia. The leaders also discussed collective efforts to overcome the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic, the possibility of creating green corridors in the world for the mutual supply of medicines, food and equipment, as well as cooperation between Moscow and Riyadh on the production of COVID-19 vaccines. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the implementation of the agreements in the OPEC + format, which made it possible to stabilize oil prices. The heads of state also touched upon various aspects of bilateral cooperation and reaffirmed the mood for expanding ties in trade and investment.
