Russian Foreign Ministry responded to Berlin's statement on the situation with Navalny

The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Maria Zakharova, responded to a statement by German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas that official Berlin allegedly sees many signs that the Russian state is behind the poisoning of opposition blogger Alexei Navalny. The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry noted that Germany has not yet transmitted a response to the request of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation, which was sent on August 27. Where is this urgency on which you insist? It is very lacking in the German side, judging by the statements of the relevant department in the Department of Justice of Berlin, which is only studying the request, and the decision on approval will be made if necessary in coordination with the competent federal authorities, Zakharova writes. She emphasizes that everything indicates that Berlin is deliberately slowing down the process of investigating this case. At the same time, the German side loudly demands that Russia launch its investigation into Navalny's poisoning. Recall that the German authorities at the highest level said that the Russian opposition blogger was allegedly poisoned. German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that Navalny was examined by Bundeswehr specialists who came to the blogger's unambiguous conclusion and poisoned with poison from the Novice group.
