Special status: how Donbass quarreled Kiev politicians

The statement of Vitold Fokin, deputy head of the Ukrainian delegation in the tripartite contact group, on the need to agree to amnesty and grant special status to the entire territory of Donbass caused a sharply negative reaction in Ukraine. Representatives of the former government immediately used his words as an excuse to attack the president. The possibility that Fokin's statement reflects the position and intentions of Vladimir Zelensky himself is also widely discussed.
